Truly an outstanding custom rom.  Ported from  the prestigious Prestigio smartphone model 3530 Duo.

PRESTIGIO KK ROM FOR A106

Now most people have experienced Marshmallow version and waiting for next 'N' android version. Then you may think that Kitkat is outdated, but still many people like to use KK roms due to its stability and other positives.  I personally like KK roms over LP thatswhy I tried to port this rom. 

It is my 6th  port after Flamefox KK,GamaKK,Landrover KK, No.1M2 LP & Uber Avvio LP.

Kitkat 4.4.2
Ported from Prestigio 5455 DUOS
Good camera clarity. QR scanner is integrated in the camera apk.
Good sound clarity without any modification.
SD card default storage.

Shared storage.
King root apk preadded.
Xposed and its modules working fine.

Bugs:
Not found any.
Note: Dont try to use OTA update. It will not work. You will only lose download data ! So keep it off.

USB Reverse tethering in Android Kitkat phones (MTK)

Hi All,


Reverse tethering means sharing PC internet to your smartphone.  It is useful when you dont have a data connection or wifi modem.

Steps:

1) Install your mediatek phone drivers in your PC.

2) Enable USB debugging in Developer Options.

3) Connect your phone to the PC through USB cable and select 'mediatek device'.

4)Go to Settings-Wireless & Networks-More-USB Internet  - tick it.

5) Then you will be asked to select PC system version.  Select  Windows XP/7/8 (according to your PC OS)

6) Now go to PC.   Start/ Control Panel/ Network and Sharing Centre.  You can see two local area connections there.  First one  access point : internet access and second one access point: no internet access.

7) Now click on the 'local area connection' link on the first option.  Click Properties. On top you can see Networking and sharing pages.  Go to Sharing, tick 'allow other network users to use this computer's internet connection'.

8) Internet is now shared to your mediatek Kitkat phone.

(It is for mediatek phones.  Not aware whether it works in other chips)

How to add a custom image in settings

Hi,

Here is  how you can  add  your  own  custom  image   in settings.

1. Decompile Settings.apk (in system/priv-app)

2.  Then take the image you  want to  add.  It  must  be in png  format  size  preferably  480*250 (Micromax Unite2  screen  size  is 480*800) . Rename the image as 'cosmic'. Put this IMG in drawable folder.

3. Download   this small xml  file banner and  put it  in Settings.apk/res/layout  folder
(If you have a  difference size  image, then change  values  accordingly  in  banner  file also.

4.Open  Settings.apk/res/xml/device_info_settings.xml  and   write the below  mentioned  line   just  above the first  'Preference Category'.

 <PreferenceCategory android:layout="@layout/banner" android:title="" android:key="blah" />

 5. Now recompile Settings apk.
